I do not want him doing stuff like that to his body. Bad. Bad. Bad. Maybe he got it for someone else. Unlikely, he does smoke. I know...sadly. BTW...congrats on your graduation Uke. You are now an Abingdonian.

Yay Thomas, welcome to LaLaLand. Is that tea he's brought with him? No, it's actually tobacco! I do not want him doing stuff like that to his body. Bad. Bad. Bad. Maybe he got it for someone else. And look how shy (or suspicious) he looks....

Whoo hoo! We have an actual cast listing! Is someone here responsible for that?Tom Hollander as Peter Snyder, a Los Angeles Philharmonic cellist who attempts to rehabilitate Ayers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Soloist

hmm - well Tom's not due out there this week because he'd doing press here for Freezing but given than he loves to go to openings, I was a bit surprised to not see his photo in the Other Boleyn Girl premiere shots but even more sad that he didn't come to the press night I attended for Ring Round the Moon tonight. Bad Tom! Maybe he had a cello recital! Can I just say that I can hardly wait for this? I can so see him playing the cello. And of course we will want that soundtrack... even if for some reason he does not really play on it.

"I always cast people I like. I never generally cast people that I don't personally like. Because I just can't talk to people that I don't like. So it's quite a little gang. A clique if you like, but no one's excluded from it, apart from the rest of the world."-- Joe Wright, "Atonement" director Great to hear that these two bright English visionaries are working together again! I've been waiting for a film that would give Tom the opportunity to showcase his musical aptitude! Tom playing the cello... *Sigh* Sophistisexy! Agreed. SPOILERS... After watching the clips it seems like he should have a pretty big part if he is another cellist who tries to rehabilitate Jamie Foxx.

Tom told Richard and Judy that he is currently learning the cello with Caroline Dale because the wonderful Joe Wright has cast him in his latest film which I believe will be shooting in L.A. Wow. Just Wow. Once again though...our guy gets no listing in the cast. I am guessing that Robert Downey, Jr. will the "...schizophrenic, homeless musician from Skid Row, Los Angeles dreams of playing at Walt Disney Concert Hall." Thanks for the scoop PE! Perhaps he will decide to drive south 100 miles for dinner with his webmistress....

I love that clip because it has Tommy doing the best dance ever in the history of mankind in my humble opinion Oh me too! And I love that sitting under the tree interview. He is so happy in that! And that dance is repeated a little bit in the extras of DMC...the bloopers...in front of the BIG map. Giggle. We need a thread for Tom's dancing bits. I know of another one... I will make one tonight. It will be called "May I have this dance...?" or something like that.
