I submitted an update to his imdb filmography yesterday but it usually takes a few days. Did you happen to add Valkyrie too? I would have done it but I do not his role. I don't think anyone does.

This appeared in Variety, last August re Jamie Foxx's preparation for the role of Nathaniel Ayers: "Project is based on the true story of musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers, who developed schizophrenia in his second year at Juilliard and ended up homeless on the streets of downtown L.A. where he performs the violin and cello. ...Foxx, a classically trained pianist, is being taught stringed instruments by a cellist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, an entity that figures in the plot of the film." Could this be Tom's role? In the R & J interview he said that he plays another cellist that tries to rehabilitate Foxx.

Julian's is: Independent Talent Group Ltd Oxford House 76 Oxford Street London W1D 1BS Trust me to know. I can also mobilise everyone on his fansite's forum to pester the National and/or his agent if needs be...we all desperately want it too (even those of us who were there!). Thanks faeriequeen...that is a great idea! Now all we need is Pippa's agent.

I believe that Tom's agent is Kiera Parks (the cute blonde who is walking beside him at the AWE premiere. She is his publicist (or "handler"). However, I believe it is spelled Ciara. It is always spelled wrong in the wireimage and getty sites. Kate Buckley is his agent at Independent Talent Group, formerly ICM in London. I found all this out when I subscribed to a trial membership in BaseLine Studio.

I submitted my request to the site's "Contact Archive" e-form so here's hoping that, even in the very smallest way, it will help expedite the process. The platform podcast as well as other published material from this production is of particular interest to me regarding the atmospherics of modern theater being utilized as a form of citizenry in presenting and questioning moral, ethical and political issues of our time. This would be an exemplary case study and of course I would love the opportunity to watch this Q & A session with Tom and cast! Going a step further, in a perfect world rather, I would someday be able to download or buy a DVD of one of the performances!! That is your next assignment, beckettologist! Hahahaha...Well...perhaps it is archived at the NT. Let's all go to London and see... BTW... Mojo IS archived at the V & A...and many of his radio broadcasts are in the British Library. I tried to get in to listen at a certain librarian's suggestion. Unfortunately you have to be a registered user and make an appointment. Next time.

Some of you know that there is supposed to be a podcast (vidcast actually) of the Platform from Landscape with Weapon. When we were sitting in the audience we noticed cameras so we knew they were filming it and when we returned home I went to the National Theatre website to inquire. Gavin, the archive guy, informed me that they were indeed going to put it up in the Podcast/Vidcast area of the website but they were waiting for the participants to give their permissions. Gavin is very nice and answers emails promptly. He suggested that I subscribe to the podcast and then I would automatically know when it was available. That was back in JulyAugust. I wrote him again in November and got this reply: Dear Deborah,
I am still waiting for permissions from several of the participants to post the video online. We will write again this week requesting permission, as soon we receive permission I will post the video and your subscription will alert you. I'd like to be able to post these straight away but, unfortunately, agents tend to take their time about these things.
Best Wishes, GavinGavin Clarke Archivist National Theatre Ph: 020 7820 3512 www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/archiveSo...I was thinking we should all write again. Maybe if they know that lots of people are eager to see it (and believe me YOU WANT TO SEE it, then maybe they will move faster. It is about minutes of the cast discussing how it was to work together on the play and it is wonderful. Unscripted and lots of fun. The moderator even gives Tommy a bad time (all in fun) about bringing his phone on stage.

Yes, thanks for the heads up on these things. I am in the process of making these corrections to Thomagination as well. I have been collecting the programmes when they show up on eBay or from other sources. I have quite a few now. I should list them here to see if anyone has a lead on the missing pieces.

Thanks to Irene for finding this:
Mistletoe and (vintage) wine The Londoner's Diary December 6, 2007 Thursday
Joel Cadbury, Alexander Armstrong and Tom Hollander gathered at St Paul's Knightsbridge last night for the church's annual carol concert.
"This is so posh," said actor Ben Miller, "that if I was a single girl then this is where I would come to find a rich husband." As waitresses announced the vintage of the wine as they served it on silver platters, all the chatter was about the new curate of the church, Richard Coles, formerly Jimmy's Somerville's sidekick in Eighties pop duo The Communards, who turned to the cloth five years ago.
"Yes, this church is different from my old one," he told me. "At the last one I used to get sick on my cassock, and now it gets covered in lily pollen," he added enigmatically.
There were readings at the concert by Hollander and Emma Watson, the new face of Chanel, who had to hurry off early to attend another party thrown by Karl Lagerfeld. Good to see that God can still come before fashion.
Note to self: Some day we will spend Christmas in London...

Have you all seen the episode preview trailer for Part 4 on the Web site?! I'd just discovered it tonight when reading up on Part 3. They include a snippet of the meeting between John Adams and King George III! Go to www.hbo.com/films/johnadams/, click on Part 4 and just below the synopsis to the right there is a link titled "view episode preview." I apologize if this is old news but I had to share my joy! YAY!...yes I just saw it tonight on TV. They played it at the end of the Part 3. Thanks for updating us here! Here's a cap... ADDED later... As much as I think those wigs are hideous and one has to wonder WHY did they wear them I have to say that LB's wig is quite beautiful in comparison. I am sure that the John Adams version is probably more accurate and less Disney-perfect.

You know that 'God Save The King' line really made me laugh...reminding me of another fan forum I used to be an avid poster on....eons ago... before I became disillusioned etc etc! From now on shall I make the supporting salute and shout 'God Save the King' whenever they show Tom Hollander in a white wig....I think if I did it I might draw attention to him....or is that to me..? ... 'God Save The King!' Oh I love that! Good one. 'God Save The King!'

"But in one of the finest scenes you'll ever see on television, Adams, America's first ambassador to the English court, has an audience with King George III, played by Tom Hollander (Pirates of the Caribbean's dastardly Cutler Beckett), the oppressive engine that pushed the Revolution. A plain fat man with difficulties scraping low, a foppish monarch who lost to the ragamuffins, both men loathe their positions in the meeting, but somehow soldier through for the benefit of both their constituencies." Jonathan Storm: 'John Adams,' show of stature (Philadelphia Inquirer - Sun., Mar. 16, 2008) www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/television/20080316_Jonathan_Storm__John_Adams__show_of_stature.html Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I can't wait. Thank you for posting this!
