Thanks to Irene for finding this:
Mistletoe and (vintage) wine The Londoner's Diary December 6, 2007 Thursday
Joel Cadbury, Alexander Armstrong and Tom Hollander gathered at St Paul's Knightsbridge last night for the church's annual carol concert.
"This is so posh," said actor Ben Miller, "that if I was a single girl then this is where I would come to find a rich husband." As waitresses announced the vintage of the wine as they served it on silver platters, all the chatter was about the new curate of the church, Richard Coles, formerly Jimmy's Somerville's sidekick in Eighties pop duo The Communards, who turned to the cloth five years ago.
"Yes, this church is different from my old one," he told me. "At the last one I used to get sick on my cassock, and now it gets covered in lily pollen," he added enigmatically.
There were readings at the concert by Hollander and Emma Watson, the new face of Chanel, who had to hurry off early to attend another party thrown by Karl Lagerfeld. Good to see that God can still come before fashion.
Note to self: Some day we will spend Christmas in London...
