As mentioned in the subject heading, hello! I stumbled upon this site during a lengthy web surfing session and, as Mr. Hollander's work is quite good and it would be rude to pop by a site like this and not say hello, I signed up and here we are. Not sure what to do for introductions, but here goes: I am an American with varied interests, including (but not limited to) travel, learning, art & design, film & TV, and issues relating to education and disability. New interests strike me all of the time, so this list could grow or change tomorrow. Since this is a Tom Hollander site, my favorite work of his was a monologue on Rev that I saw recently where his character was speaking about what happens after death. I realize he didn't write it, but the delivery had me in tears --really lovely. And that's what brought me here. Have a great evening! A.

Hello adesanfeliz! And welcome! Things have been a little quiet around here just lately so pardon the delay in saying just that -- Welcome. So glad to have you! Re the beautiful Rev. quote -- I think I know just the one you mean. I thought the very same thing...I happened to be watching it with my daughter and felt so glad to have shared that with her. Just lovely.
Do you know about our "sister site", thomagination.com? That is the career site for Tom, and Deb (my pal and co-conspirator, and true Hollanderian) has done a wonderful job with keeping on top of Tom's projects, from acting roles to voicework, and beyond.
So glad you're here!

Hello and welcome! Sorry for the delayed greeting. Some people have had trouble logging in here and I hope that is not the reason for it being so quiet here. Tom has been so busy lately so it surprises me that there is not more discussion here. That said, we are planning our usual birthday messages for him again and hope all of you will participate. An email will go out in the next few days to fall everyone. Basically, everyone who wants to wish Tom a happy birthday on August 25th sends me their message (you can include a photo or some sort of graphic if you so desire) and I gather them all up on a special (hidden from the public) page on Thomagination and send him the link to it. He has commented in the past to me that this always makes his birthday special, so I know it is important. The messages can me put up here in a PM, or you can email them to me by requesting my email in a PM. Or if you are on Facebook you can PM me there (https://www.facebook.com/deborah.olliff?ref=tn_tnmn) and put TBP 2014 (Tom's Birthday Project) in the header. Here is last year's collection for an idea of what we do... www.thomagination.com/Happy_Birthday_2013.htmAgain, Welcome! Deb x

Hey there, adesanfeliz! Welcome! Enjoy taking a look around here as well as on Thomagination.com. I think I will take my own advice since I've been a bit absent from the Hollanderian crowd and am in need of a catch up on all things Tom!
Deb & Irene - My login problems have been solved. Yay! Thanks for your help! -Sheryl xx

Thank you for your kind greetings! I knew it was a good idea to stop in when I was surfing by the other night. And thank you for the tip about thomagination. I do love to read and it seems to be full of information. The amount of effort you have put into this site and that one --really extraordinary. Particularly in the throes of summer (for example, I couldn't check for replies over the past couple of days because I was busy hiking up a mountain!). Hopefully Mr. Hollander is appreciative of your efforts because you seem like very nice, hardworking ladies. I'm sure he is.
His birthday is coming? I love birthdays! Anything that celebrates one more year of being alive and gives others a reason to treat you nicely and make you feel special is a great thing. I'd love to add a message, but I'm afraid I don't know how to PM (I assume that's 'private message' and not 'prime minister' or 'post meridian'!).

I see they have made it harder to find Private Messages here. Grr. If you look up in the top right corner of the posts you will see Quote, A thumb and a gear with an arrow. Click the arrow and then select "Member" and send message. Make sure you are on the right person though. I will send you a message to get you started and then you can just reply. You will find your messages in the top menu bar under the banner with the picture of Tom.
Good luck and thank you for joining in on the TBP this year. As I said, Tom loves this and we have been sending him birthday greetings in one for or another for seven years now. Deb
