I know this will be hard to decide, but it's going to be interesting to see the results. Have Fun!

I believe that Hollander will be always remembered by his Beckett´s character . And I am sure that the people when sees him for the street walking, they will say. " Look here... Is Lord Beckett!!!"....
I love Beckett and I love Leon, I have 2 favorites Freezing´s scene:
1) "¡¡¡f**k YOU!!!.- Shouts him before going out running and chased by the police officers.
2) When he enters in his room with the girl his arms and sees his friend in his bed. The shameless 's face that Tom puts, is unforgettable ......

Freezing will not be released on DVD and I don't have the channel that Freezing was on so I missed out on all that Leon cuteness topaz Oh hey is this the little snippit i saw on the youtube video called "Tom Hollander 2"....it has some great stuff from freezing in it. It has the F**k You run off bit, and the girl in the room bit, but only enough that you see her and him and then she falls and he has this look on his face that put me into hysterics when i saw it.... Also I haven't seen freezing yet... ....really, i would die to see it! Leon seems so cute, and unbelievably funny from what i have seen. *Sigh*

Guy Burgess & Darren for me! He just completely steals the show in Cambridge Spies especially.

*Wives & Daughters SPOILER ALERT!*
My votes were for Lord Beckett & Osborne Hamley, although it was a VERY difficult choice for my second pick! Too many great moments to mention re: LB (none I'm sure that you all aren't already aware of!), but one that catches my breath in Wives & Daughters is when Molly is riding away in the carriage from the Hamley residence. Osborne suddenly appears, rushing alongside her, and grabs her hand and kisses it with such attentive sincerity! *Sigh*

Yeah, I have to say that Osbourne Hamley is one of the characters I love Tom as.... He is just so sweet, and kind, and gentle. He'd be the Brother, Son or even better, Husband, that you'd love to have. *Sighs*..... I need to go watch that again now..... I don't know if you guys can see the running results of the poll, but Cutler Beckett (surprise, surprise) is way out in front with 41% and the next closest are Leon, Etherege, Guy Burgess and Nick, all with 8%........It's interesting to see that Charlie (A Good Year) hasn't had a vote yet.. .....I have a soft spot for Charlie, he is adorable.....he can rub ice on my back anytime

^^ Your poll is causing turmoil Dani!
It's impossible to pick favourite Tom characters, really! Hence the reason I voted only for Cutler, because otherwise I would have been stressing over Osbourne, Guy Burgess, Charlie, GEORGE and Darren.
Now, if there had been a poll for "Tom's worst roles", I would vote for Willie Patridge from Picadilly Jim. Not sure if it's the accent, or just the character, but I'm not a fan.
Oh...and I agree with you on the ice front. I saw A Good Year before I was fully acquainted with Tom (in other words, I didn't really know who he was), but that was one scene I remember. I thought he was very cute then...I think he's splendidly marvelous now!

He was adorable and funny in A Good Year. I love this part: [ I forget the cousin's name. ] Cousin: I love your accent. Charlie: ... Thanks. *whisper* I love your bum. Hehe. That would be Christy... Here is the scene: Personally I love when he does his French accent... "Max...I think at the moment your whole body is covered in the eau de French girl...and when you have had a cold shower things will look a little bit different." If you would like to imagine more Charlie get the book. It is completely different than the film and there is LOTS of Charlie. Right Erica?

I voted for George V in "The Lost Prince". I think he is amazing in that role. Well, the whole film is very good, but he is one of the highlights.
I haven't seen many of Tom's films but didn't he also play Mr Mantalini in "Nicholas Nickelby"? I bet that would be worth seeing.

I love this scene also... and have many of you listened to the commentary of this scene on the DVD. They take about how Tom came to the set wearing that....everything is him...they said "It's perfect, leave him like that".... He has nice fashion sense...even the hat....I really like his watch too.....But it's the flip flops that do it for me....

Hahahaha! I did wonder about his fashion sense in that scene. I've got to say, I am quite enthralled now that I know it's all Tom. I can just imagine settling down on a couch to watch TV and drink coffee with him in that. Maybe not the hat, the hat inside could be an occupational hazard.
Sorry all! Ranting!
Yes, the French scene is delightful! There are just so many brilliant Tom moments in that movie. It's a shame he's not in it more ;D
