Well, I admit that I double-checked my French to make sure I didn't say anything like I like his eggs. In French class, I was notorius for mispronouncing "eyes" for "eggs"! (yeux -vs-oeufs) "Leur prononciation semble si semblable à moi" **hee - hee oui les deux prononciations se ressemblent beaucoup ^^ but it doesn't mean the same at all xD I like when english people speak french =] I think I love your "R" (as I said to Beckettologist ;D). They are so... sweet, and... C'est doux. The french "R" is quite hard to do, and it's not so beautiful xD I just hate to be in the english class, when the teacher asks somebody to read a text, and the student makes no effort to hide the french accent. It's so beautiful when a "R" is well-done, it makes me feel just like if I was listening to music or something like that =] |

Salut Amélie! Désolé pour être un peu en retard mais je suis très heureuse de voir une Française ici parce que je vais vivre en France pour 6 mois à la fin de cette année! J'étudie le français à l'université en Angleterre et je vais aller à l'Université d'Avignon. ;D

Salut Amélie! Désolé pour être un peu en retard mais je suis très heureuse de voir une Française ici parce que je vais vivre en France pour 6 mois à la fin de cette année! J'étudie le français à l'université en Angleterre et je vais aller à l'Université d'Avignon. ;D I just love how diverse this little community is! We are literally world-wide. |

Salut Amélie! Désolé pour être un peu en retard mais je suis très heureuse de voir une Française ici parce que je vais vivre en France pour 6 mois à la fin de cette année! J'étudie le français à l'université en Angleterre et je vais aller à l'Université d'Avignon. ;D ça alors ! le monde est petit ^^ Peut être qu'on se rencontrera un jour alors ;D Avignon, c'est pas très loin =] (tout est relatif xD) I just love how diverse this little community is! We are literally world-wide. so true, so true, but there are no need of countries and nationalities to see how talented Tom is =] (don't know if my sentence means something xD) |

Moi je ne vois pas d'erreurs =] c'est vrai que question cinéma les gens ne sont pas très ouverts par ici, mais c'est tellement agréable de se sentir marginal =D |

Hello...
Thought I'd overcome my pathological shyness and introduce myself finally. It's a relief to find a community of fellow Tom fans. Around these parts, people don't know Tom by name but when I say "Mr. Collins from Pride & Prejudice" they usually respond with, "Oh, that guy! He was cool in that film!" More Hollanderians in the making, perhaps?
As for me, my real name is Emily and I live in Iowa City, which aside from the occasional tornado is about as exciting as reading the back of a can of spam. I'm a writer (poems, novels, novellas) which supports my hobby of working retail full-time in a local soap store. The first Tom film for me was Enigma, but my favorites are Gosford Park (one of my favorites of all time), Wives & Daughters, and Pride & Prejudice.
