Finally...I am a collectible figure and quite rare, apparently...and about time, I might add. Somehow The Endeavour went a bit off course and ended up in San Diego. I found myself on the doorstep of someone called Mistress Deb. After freeing me from my plastic bonds she insisted on my joining this group...so here I am. Perhaps I can be in charge...I do love to be in control of the world...I have a very large map you know...and a sword. Ah well...do carry on...I shall be in my opulent Captain's Quarters having my tea and admiring my portrait. Feel free to interview me.. .if you must.

Awesome! I love it! Yes, and a very big sword, too.

Yes. Well.
One does pride one's self on the size and rapacity of one's weaponry, n'est pas? Savez que votre épée et vous connaîtrez votre homme. That's my especial and most personal philosphée. Haha. But I digress.
It seems this curious Court has been called. Where do they meet? To what purpose? What happens when they are brought together? And, more importantly, what means of place is this "Hollanderia"?
....Could someone kindly call a servant? I thought that perhaps leaving the damnéd Caribbean would return me to a decent and proper English climate. Au contraire: I find this San Diego climate...unwieldy. It is winter. Nigh on the first of February, yet I find myself....discomfited. I feel the need of physical comfort.
I'll be in my quarters. Go about your business.

His Lordship photographs well, I must say! Thank you madame...I agree. I trust you have seen my glorious portrait? By the by...does anyone know where I can get a decent cup of tea here? It is well past teatime and the mistress of the house is nowhere to be seen...honestly. And NO servants! Just a man tapping away on something and staring intently at a screen of some sort. That's annoying!

I have seen your portrait and the artist is to be congratulated! The depiction of your likeness is a most favorable one.
What lovely concoction are you steeping there?

Having come across this site due to the direction of a rather dubious character, I must say I am appalled, nay, disgusted at the wanton display of public appreciation from the gentler sex for that vile fiend known as Cutler Beckett. It is truly disturbing the way he is being fawned over, and as an officer of the Royal Navy and a gentleman, I must say I find the entire business unsavoury. I shall go further in this and suggest that, in future, such gathering places for admiration should be made for those who truly deserve it. A gentleman of some standing, and perhaps an officer of the Royal Navy would be a good start in this more positive direction. As I am an example of both, I am willing to sacrifice parts of my better judgement in order to serve the populace here better. Fawning and flattering me will not be met with the return of my gushing praise, though I will not prevent them. Nor can I possibly prevent any of you, in your lustful wanting, from giving me the occasional cell phone number. I certainly cannot stop you from giving me your home address in order to arrange untoward clandestine meetings--Of which I wholeheartedly do not approve (though I do express you make the address clear--I wouldn't want to be trapped on the tube for three hours not knowing what stop to get off as this was a most unpleasant experience and not one I wish to revisit. If GetInMyHotPants323 is here, I apologise for the lack of communication in this regard). In regards to cell phones, does anyone have Elizabeth Turner's new number? She seems to have changed it and isn't returning my calls. The several emails I am sending her every day are also bouncing back--I am concerned she may have problems with her ISP. The mail I have been sending to Shipwreck's Cove has been coming back with the words 'return to sender' written on it, and I can only interpret this to mean she is having trouble with her mail carrier. In any event, I believe I shall while away some time here on the bookshelf, and try not to glean any nightmares from this odd selection of reading. "The Murder Casebook" sitting betwixt Dickens and Hawthorne--My landlady has peculiar taste. Sincerely yours, Admiral Norry

Good luck with that plan Mister Gibbs...tell that rascal Captain Sparrow he should not leave his precious Pearl unmanned while he is in town swilling rum. As you well know there is no ship that can match the Pearl for speed...not even that sleek vessel of yours...good thing these lovely ladies here tell me they are ASA certified among other things... now if you will excuse us...

I see Jezell and Scarlett went to the "Dark Side". But I never thought Dopey would venture there.

Admiral Norry! I seem to remember asking you if you feared death and taking away a rather attractive sword as you breathed your last... How times change. Not that I'm complaining... I've been released from my curse since then so you may not recognise me. I've got better clothes now (and they're dry) but I can't seem to play the organ as well as I used to. Everything has its price...p!

AdmiralNorry....I must advise caution Sir, for surely as an officer of the Royal Navy, and a gentleman, you would not wantonly risk your reputation, to be seen to fratinize with the likes of us....not to mention the mortal danger you could find your soul in after partaking of the fruits of your landlady's bookshelf as you waited long for our cellphone numbers and addresses!....The macabre stories of H.P. Lovecraft should be avoided at all costs....I beseech you Sir!!!
