I'm not sure how many of you are able to watch but I am going to log on to chat here at 5pm PST in case anyone is interested in watching the Oscars with me. I am hoping that Tom might be there though I seriously doubt he will. I will mainly be criticizing the fashion choices and cheeringArmando and the writers on for In the Loop's Best Adapted Screenplay nomination. ~Deb Added later: Just found this... Oscars Live Stream but it says it is only the Red Carpet and backstage. Not the actual ceremony. We'll see. There also seems to be some discrepancy on what time the RC begins.

Deb,
Here the ceremony of the Oscar will begin very late (due to the timezone).
I'll watch and I hope that Tom be there, but I also doubt that he will.

*yawn* I see the Oscars now.(The first time) In Loop has not win. Kind of pity. I doubt too, that he is at that. The scene with the two guys in the bed was a bit funny. (It was a joke about "paranormal activitiy"...I believe.) Oh and I was pleased, Christoph Walz did a good job. And I must say, Maryl Streep looks fantastic. I like her really much, she reminds me to my Granny. Be that as it may, I must sleep. (yet 2 hours -.-) Ah, I have a question. Can anybody tell me, why Mr. Cloony looks so angry? Is he ran out of pomade? Oh and Hans Zimmer is nominated, hope he win.

I was hoping for Meryl Streep and Morgan Freeman. Well fortunately, they both have little golden statues of their own. They are both brilliant, though, I agree! Crazy Heart wasn't a great movie, but Jeff Bridges was awesome. And Sandra Bullock has definitely payed her dues in the industry.
