I don't know if you can read this -- but it's a screencap from a UK paper that speculates about POTC and "who will be back". I can't imagine how they think they KNOW at this point -- though it's a good bet some of the higher priced leads will have to, er, wash their hair that year. Meanwhile, for others -- it begs the question of...why NOT? And as some have pointed out -- Certain Characters (*cough*) have an awful lot to answer for -- even in a prequel. Especially in a prequel. (Me, I'm holding out for another pre-curse appearance for Mr. Groovy (see left).)Excuse me if this has been done to bits in another thread...but I wanted to share the article.... look over on the right top for a mention of Tom. And I wouldn't take it as fact, just yet, either....

You're absolutely right!! Certain characters absolutely do have a lot to answer for: Sparrow, Beckett, Davy Jones, Barbosa, et al, could go waaaaay back if the writers wanted to. I was convinced that they were going to reveal what "mark" Jack Sparrow left on Beckett in POTC3 , but they didn't. I've been dying to know the answer to that one since I saw Dead Man's Chest in the cinema. Urgh! Orlando and Keira's characters were "filler" and ancillary tie-ins for the main storyline to keep moving, anyway. Bleah!Excellent find, Ms. Redwine!
