I am beside myself with joy! Apparently it must work to put a wallpaper on my computer that says "Read me a story Tom"... Actually, we owe this find to my beloved husband Don. ::::::::::::::::::Drumroll::::::::::::::: Coming February 2009 (and pre-orderable) from Amazon.uk is: City Boy: Beer and Loathing in the Square MileReview'Riotous and absolutely hilarious - unputdownable' - Howard Marks Description'Who is Cityboy? He's every brash, suited, FT-carrying idiot who ever pushed past you on the tube. He's the egotistical buffoon who loudly brags about how much cash he's made on the market at otherwise pleasant dinner parties. He's the greedy, ruthless wanker whose actions are helping turn this world into the nuts-hole it's rapidly becoming. For one period in my life, he was me.' In this no-holds-barred, warts-and-all account of life in London's financial heartland, Cityboy breaks the Square Mile's code of silence in his own inimitable style, revealing explosive secrets, tricks of the trade and the corrupt, murky underbelly at the heart of life in the City. Drawing on his experience as a young analyst in a major investment bank, the six-figure bonuses, monstrous egos, and the everyday culture of verbal and substance abuse that fuels the world's money markets is brutally exposed as Cityboy describes his ascent up the hierarchy of this intensely competitive and morally dubious industry, and how it almost cost him his sanity.

OHHHHHHHHHH! I really think he is hearing us. Thank you so much Dani! Here is a look inside: The LieutenantTom, if you are lurking here THANK YOU! These are like Christmas gifts for us. It is in my Amazon cart too...I hesitate to "Check Out" yet...maybe something ELSE will show up! I will give it a few hours...hahahahahaha. This is also keeping me verrrrry busy updating Thomagination! Not that I am complaining. Side note....I read the preview to this and it made me think of T he Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant. Just because of the location and timeframe. Wow. I think I am most excited about this one. Watch them all arrive on the same day and I will go into a frenzy trying to decide which to listen to first!

"The Lieutenant" sounds bloody brilliant - right up my alley. I've often seen this book in the shops and been intrigued. Now with Tom reading it - well, one word really - YUM! Dani - I bags buying that one if we do the buying one each thing. That's if you haven't already passed through the checkout

I have this image of Tom in my head…sitting in a recording studio with headphones on, and they just keep shoving books under the door. They have him locked in which is maybe why he has been scarce lately and disheveled when we see him out with Fran. "Done. Keep 'em coming... this should keep my devoted fangirls busy for awhile."or more like... "Am I done yet? Oh bloody hell....another one?"I couldn't wait. I "checked out"...I figure if that might be a way to get another one! Hahaha. Man, are we greedy for his voice or what? I updated Thomagination with all three books. The only one that is the actual audiobook cover is "Words That Burn" though. I used the books for the other two. That is what I did with The Soloist and Valkyrie before the official stuff came out. I also have the info in the Voice page with links to Amazon as the Hachette audio website is really lame. Speaking of that...I don't know how many of you have noticed but I have changed Thomagination a tad...I have quotes on the pages other than Home and Voice. Just a little different. I didn't think we needed every project on ever page and it was feeling cluttered. It was fun looking for quotes to use. I have one left to add and that is the Reference page. I sort of assigned that to Irene since that is pretty much her baby.

Gaaah! Deb I have to draw that scene! Either "Done. Keep 'em coming... this should keep my devoted fangirls busy for awhile." or "Am I done yet? Oh bloody hell....another one?" XD

Oh, how exciting!! I was especially looking forward to the City Boy one but now that I've read the outline for "The Lieutenant", I'm psyched about that one too. Especially since seeing "Australia" last week.
YAY!!!
