Hello everyone! I`m new to this message board. I`m basicially a big fan of Tom Hollander, but felt a bit isolated till now. Maybe that is because i`m from germany, and he is not very known here. By the way: wasn`t Tom`s german just adorable in "Hanna"? "Ich bin der Sandmann"! Anyway, i hope my english is tolerable enough for you all to understand! With the best and kindest regards, Miriam

With the best and kindest regards, Miriam Welcome Miriam! We are happy you joined us. And you are here in time to join us in wishing Tom a happy birthday on August 25th too! There's a thread about it here: hollanderia.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tomsbirthdayprojects&action=display&thread=785Your English is more than tolerable. No problem there! We have a few other German members here so you are not alone. And yes, Tom's German was great in Hanna. I loved that he had the last word after the credits too! Ich bin der Sandmann! Have fun exploring and feel free to PM me with any questions about the birthday project (TBP). Marie the Magpie also has a project that you might want to be a part of if it is not too late. Deb x

Hello Miriam! You are not alone with your feelings of isolation.I joined here right before Tom's birthday. I felt the same but Deb (beckettologist) invited me to introduce. So, I'm breaking my shyness once again. I'm from Poland and think that Tom is not very known here too. I didn't see Tom in Hanna (unfortunately) but I'm sure he was adorable there just like in the other films and Tv series I've seen. For example in "Gracie!". He was so cute with his italian accent. I've just remembered one his quote (because of your name ): "Tell me, Miriam. Do you play cards?" And his lovely smile...;D Best wishes!
