That sounds positive. It is hard to imagine them not re-commissioning it with so much positive feedback. I keep thinking about what Olivia Colman said in her interview for Tv.com about how she hoped they would be still doing it when they are 90. :)Hehe.

The final episode was excellent, won't say any more until everyone has seen it but great comedy and so moving OH Wow! Yes! Very Powerful. I welled up a bit. Irene made an interesting observation. Nearly every time we get to see that precious smile of his he get knocked down, put down or ignored. It is almost a warning signal of what's to come in the scene. The episode was yet another shining example of the brilliance and fearlessness Tom exhibits in his acting. I am constantly in awe.

This final episode was like a roller coaster ride, one minute I was laughing so much I had to pause it before I could carry on (magic scene when he was praying and also at the party ) and then as Deb says, it was so poignant I could feel the tears starting. Tom is amazing

Am I getting too hopeful?
I saw this in the Radio Times informing viewers that they have got until 9th August to enjoy all six episodes on the iPlayer. At the top of the writing it says “This comedy started merely quite well, but has stealthily gained momentum during its first series and is now beloved of Radio Times readers”
Do they know something??

Probably. I bet they probably like to torture us and spring it on us at the last minute. It was so well-received it is hard to believe that they wouldn't do another. Facebook also says "Series 1". Fingers and toes crossed over here. I also heard talk of it going to BBC America.

I think we can all agree on that. "Give the guy a Bafta!"
