Had to share this with you. I sent a tweet to @kentonallen asking if there would be extras on the Rev DVD. Here is his reply: "Of course. Lots of treats to come..." I am doubly thrilled because I have tweeted to him several times but this is the first reply I have had from him. *jumps up and down*

That *is* another good article! I am pretending that what Kenton Allen said (when I asked about extras on the DVD) has hidden meaning: kentonallen @deb_olliff Of course. Lots of treats to come...

I don't want to get everyone too excited but I had to share this. A couple of people tweeted today that they saw Tom chatting with a priest or reverend. I wonder if he was doing more research... Fingers and toes crossed.

Brilliant news - thank you trickypixie and Deb As long as we know there will be a second series I can be patient and wait until late 2011 - we've got lots of Tom to enjoy in the meantime

I went to Amazon.uk to check the release date for Rev and noticed that there's more info listed! Kenton Allen was not kidding when he said there would be lots of goodies! Look: DVD DescriptionIt’s hell being a vicar… Meet The Rev. Adam Smallbone. He’s a Church of England Vicar, newly promoted from a sleepy rural parish to the busy, inner-city world of St Saviour’s in Hackney, East London. It’s a world he has no experience of. And it shows. It really shows. Rev. is an authentic--albeit highly comic--portrait of the life of a modern, inner-city vicar. Heavily researched and supported by anecdotes from a number of working city vicars and church insiders it lifts the lid on how the modern church actually functions, and what life is really like in a dog collar. Special FeaturesBlogs, Rev- Tom Hollander’s Production Diary Behind the Scenes/Making of Documentary Out-takes Deleted scenes Photo Gallery Commentaries I CAN'T WAIT!
