I've just seen episode two. Guy B. is quite the sweetest and it is nice to see Tom in a rather large role - compared to the others he seems to have the most screen time or maybe that's just me paying more attention when he is on screen...
Anyway, been wanting to watch this series for a long, long time before I even knew he was in it. I love anything period and this is set during a time I don't know much about and only recently actually taken more of an interest in.
I also want to watch The Company - he plays Philby doesn't he? Seems like he's working his way through the Cambridge Spy characters!

I love Guy Burgess, I think he's eccentric, intense and courageous. For me, this was his most important character in the TV (of his works which I watched). The clothes of the series are so great, Tom is very well dressed in all episodes. His performance is intense, expectations ... Indeed, he gives himself to the characters he does

This is my favorite of his roles ever, actually. Though of course I've never seen his stage work (where did Deb leave the time machine parked?). I love him as Philby in The Company as well. It's a much smaller role, but very complex. And I'm a sucker for a guy with a stutter. I remember meeting a boy with a stutter when I was about 12. I think it was the first time I fell in love at first sight (or hear, rather). ;D
