Hi, I thought I should finally introduce myself after the few months of visiting. My name is Lynette and I'm from northern Alberta Canada. I became curious about Tom after watching PotC 2 and 3 alot. Apparently for the "wrong reasons" according to my movie GFs (sorry but they can have Johnny and Orlando) Hmmm what else can I put in here to make a good intro. Oh I have to admit something, that copy of In the Company of the Courtesan that was on eBay back in April. I bought it I was so frustrated trying to get a copy through our local bookshop this far north. I know I have alot more reading ahead of me so *waves* see you around ;D

I bought it I was so frustrated trying to get a copy through our local bookshop this far north. I know I have alot more reading ahead of me so *waves* see you around ;D Welcome Lynette! *waves back* We are glad you came out of hiding! I know that sometimes people like to hang around for a bit before introducing themselves. We are a pretty friendly bunch here. I have a confession...I came to be a Tom fan through Johnny. You probably already know that. I scared my husband and friend at the end of AWE when Tom's name came on in the end credits. I was the only one screaming and cheering for the evil deliciously evil Lord Beckett at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. I don't usually do things like that but *somebody* in that theatre had to show him some respect and love! In the Company of the Courtesan is WONDERFUL is it not? I think I have listened about 4 times now and feeling the urge to listen again. Actually...everything he does is wonderful. Again...welcome! We hope you enjoy it here and that you will join us in the birthday surprise project I am cooking up. PM me if you need help with anything! ~Deb

;D Thanks!!! ItCotC was wonderful!! I was amazed at his range of characters. I don't usually listen to audio books but when I was listening to his clips on Another Tongue something was sparked. Thats when the hunt was on *lol* I was happier than a kid at Christmas when my package arrived and I put it straight to my mp3 player. And there is such a difference when you take the time to relax and listen to it in a quiet room. Nothing but Tom in your head. An incredible sensation ;D I did get the emails about the birthday project, but for some strange reason I felt shy to send in an entry. Which isn't like me at all. Maybe thats will be my little project this week, to take some nice pics and do some editing. Speaking of editing, I am really looking forward to The Soloist, which should be finished filming now right? Both Tom and Robert Downey Jr. in the same film *sigh* This year is going to be good! This really is a great place, thankyou for the welcomes

I have been trying to collect all of his audio work. Not easy in some cases. I love Conrad's Fate too, even though it is for younger audiences it is just plain fun and very funny. Tom has a gift for comedy. Don't be shy. And don't be afraid to ask for help. I am making most of them but some members want to do their own and that is fine with me. I think I have five completed ones so far. I put the counter at the bottom of this site so people would have a gauge of time. I know how quickly it slips away from us when we are busy. Yes, I believe they wrapped The Soloist back in April. There are some on-the-set pics in the Soloist thread. Check them out if you have not already been there. And we are glad you came out of lurkdom... ~Deb
