Mine too. And I was so happy to get to vote for Ciaran Hinds, too. I love him!

For everyone hoping to get their DVD of Rev in October I've just received this bad news from Amazon. There isn't even a release date! but this is what it said in my email from Amazon: Tom Hollander, Olivia Colman "Rev [DVD]" Estimated arrival date: April 20 2011

I know! I can't wait THAT long! I need cheering NOW. Plus, That will me AFTER the London trip. Because I am over here I get to wait even longer! My email said this: Tom Hollander, Olivia Colman "Rev [DVD]" Estimated arrival date: April 28 2011 - May 05 2011
I know they probably have no control but I just tweeted @bigtalk. Maybe if enough people do that they will do something. And who knows, maybe they are trying to see how many people want it. I sure hope it doesn't go the way of Freezing! That was "pre-orderable" in the beginning too.

I went to Amazon to see who the maker/distributor is on the Rev DVD. Here it is: www.2entertainvideo.co.uk/2evideo/contact.phpI sent an "enquiry" to them asking if they can tell us WHY. Maybe if a lot of people do it it will help. Maybe not. Maybe there is a technical glitch that they need to fix. But maybe we will find out. WHo knows...maybe it is a blessing in disguise and it will be even better (hear that optimism there?). Anyway, give it a try if you feel like it. Here is what *I* said: Hello, I got an email from Amazon UK today telling me that I have to wait an additional SIX months before my DVD of Rev will arrive. Just wondering if you can tell us why. I am not the only person that is very disappointed in this. I curate a website for Tom Hollander that is popular with fans all over the world and we are all wondering why the delay and why so long? We would appreciate a response as we all loved the series and are anxious for the DVD. Impatiently, Deborah Olliff www.thomagination.com/default.htmUPDATE: I got a reply! Dear Deborah
Thank you for your recent communication regarding the availability of the above programme. We are planning to release this tile against the transmission of series 2, this is fairly standard practice for recurring comedy series. We appreciate all of the feedback that we receive from the viewing public, so thank you again for your correspondence.
Yours sincerely, 2Entertain DVD Enquiry Team

They certainly replied promptly - well done Deb for getting an explanation.
I've sent them an email too, I know it won't change anything but at least they'll know how we all feel.

Ugh. Boo and hiss. Well, I'll just have to pull a Willy Wonka on this one ("The suspense is terrible! I hope it'll last.") and hunker down until the spring. Thanks Deb, for asking why on behalf of his fans!

I can't remember if I ever posted this and I am too busy (and lazy) to go hunting for it but I thought everyone should see it. Ian Johnson does the publicity for Rev and there is a picture on her that I have never seen. (half of Tom standing in front of brick wall). You can also download the press pack for Rev. www.ianjohnsonpublicity.co.uk/clients/revI have it on good authority from one of my contacts there that there is more Rev news coming soon! Hang tight.

I've just watched the first episode of a new comedy series called Whites starring Alan Davies who plays Roland White "a chef on the brink of success 15 years ago, Roland has since lost the sparkle and drive needed to win a long-coveted Michelin star. He can cook with the best of them when he puts his mind to it, but laziness gets the better of him"
His sous chef is Darren Boyd - Darren Betts from Rev! ;D
