I thought I would share this with you as it is an interesting audio discussion of the play in which they praise Tom's "landmark" performance. It is about 12 minutes in length. Theatre VoiceEnjoy!

I wasn't sure exactly where to put this, but I was at the Donmar on Tuesday night to see The Chalk Garden (which was brilliant, incidentally) and happened to notice that they had a framed photo of Tom in this production up in their Circle bar! I managed to sneak a rather rubbish pic of it on my phone after the play as I don't think it's one we've seen before?

Wow FQ. How cool is that? I was about to say that I would have loved to have been in the audience for that play but then I realized that is true of every Tom performance. Ha! I have seen the BBC-TV version of this so I guess I should count my blessings. Laurie is cut from similar cloth as Leon. A rascally bastard that you can't help feeling sorry for and wanting to hug. The thing I loved most about The Hotel in Amsterdam is that it i pretty much the Tom Hollander show. Can't say that about very many of his performances as far as having a big role. Thanks for sharing that! I have already posted this above but it bears repeating as it is pretty interesting. Theatre Voice has an archived review/discussion of the performance and Tom is highly praised. Enjoy!
