ani: Echt? Du bist Berlinerin? Ja holt dich der Teufel, ist das super! Die Welt ist wirklich sehr klein^^ Ja, wirklich schade, zu zweit wäre es bestimmt lustig gewesen xD In welchem Bezirk wohnst du? Ich bin Spandauerin xD I totally understand that he's hiding his private life. I mean, look at all the actors who are ever-present in the spotlight, who are revealing their private life and are chased by paparazzi. I think Tom just wants to prevent this. He's an actor, but he has a right for a normal life.

I'm agree with you Medea, he is an actor and he must protect his private life, he MUST DO IT. But he must be a little approachable with his fans. Because me I live in Spain and I'm going to see him in the premier and he is so elusive with me and with the people, with his fans that they are going to see to him... Believe me that I could be a little 'DISAPPOINT', and I'm now because it would happened to me.

Friends, I know what you are feeling. Deception is always bad. I think you should consider more what he is and does in front of the camera, that's what matters. The private life belongs to him only and not for us.
I think that must be difficult for him to be smiling ever that someone recognize him in the streets or events. Have patience ... He is human.
You have much luck because you already saw he, I never saw him; only by TV.
I don't know who is his girlfriend, if he is married, if he has children. I do not know almost nothing, but I'm happy for his new movie and he has given life to my graceful Mr. Collins. KKKKKKKKKKK...
Kisses

I am upset about this conversation…some of it is hard to understand (language barriers and all) but what I am getting out of it is that you are feeling like Tom is not appreciative of his fans. Did something bad happen? Maybe he was not feeling well…maybe he was having a bad day. Remember, he is human just like the rest of us. I can tell you first hand that he IS appreciative. When I spoke with him in London in 2007 I told him that he has so many fans that adore him and he acted surprised and very touched. I urge any skeptics to read this interview and you will see that Tom is just uncomfortable about the whole "celebrity" thing and he does not enjoy being photographed as himself. So don't be angry with him and think about how you would feel if people were hounding you for photographs and such. It does go with the territory as a celebrity but some do not take to it. Here is the interview if you missed it... Hollander's Park Keep the faith. He is a good guy.

I agree also!!! Girls, don't be disappointed! He IS with us. Always. He is with us in all those beautiful films.... Are you sad? Just watch some good movie with Tom and then you'll fell much better! Are you tired? Listen to some audiobook and his nice voice will cheer you up and help to relax. Are you in bad mood? Just look at his photo and I bet it will make you smile. He always makes us feel better. It's a very important thing. We do many good things for him but he does it also! He gives to us his talent, he plays so amazing roles and he brought all us together! Just think about it! And I thankful to him for this.

ok i dissociate me from his private life and all of this...what i mean was the situation on the premiere, but its ok!!!...no more no less... i wouldnt start a debate of his private "quirks"....i quite agree!! as such, deb..you are right! medea...man ist mir das unangenehm...irgendwie redet man doch sehr oft an einander vorbei...ich hab versucht hammer neutral zu bleiben und dachte ds wäre angekommen...na ja... ja berlinerin ;D berlin mitte kind...irgendwie tut das gut sich mal in seiner sprache ausdrücken zu können..ich hab doch ganz schön mühe mich in sowas zu intigrieren, weil irgendwie ja wirklich nicht immer alles hundert pro stimmt, also übersetzungstechnisch..glaub ich..^^ EDIT: i very much apologize for this misconceptions!!i believe, or i feel? tom is a good guy!! to conclude by saying: language is the source of misunderstandings. What's your attitude to this film.....so generally? Having experienced the Deadman's Chest Red Carpet at Disneyland I agree! It is madness. I would not do it again. But it IS an experience like no other. Hours and hours of waiting with no guarantee you will get to communicate with anyone or get an autograph or picture if that is what you are after. I remember how sweet Orlando was when we went. He was thanking everyone over and over for coming out to see them. And Keira was sweet too...one girl had her picture taken with Keira and it did not come out. The young girl was so upset but Keira was nice enough to come back and retake the photo with her.

I am a bit of a movie freak (I'll admit it) and I am one of those people who is quite shy, but when it comes to actors and celebs I love I suddenly lose all my nerves and always try to speak to them and get an autograph etc. One of the things I would love to do is be present at a red-carpet event...taking pics etc. I think I would enjoy it....although it would be a circus!

Me too, I think if I would see a celebrity, I couldn't speak a word. In a moment like that you just can't find any words. Do you know what to say to an actor?
